Privacy Policy

This policy explains how AcreHound handles information when you use our website and land discovery service.
Information we handle
We handle information needed to provide and improve AcreHound. This can include your name, email address, phone number, account identifier, and profile information, along with the searches, preferences, and decisions you save in the service.
Google sign-in data
If you sign in with Google, AcreHound requests only your basic profile, name, and email address. We use that information to create and secure your account, recognize you when you return, personalize the service, and associate your saved work with you. Account data is stored with our authentication and database provider, Supabase. We also send your AcreHound user ID and email address to PostHog to understand account activation and product use. We do not use Google sign-in data for advertising or sell it.
Information you provide
Your account may include saved search criteria and markets, preferences, projects, triage decisions, and notes. If you use the contact form, we receive the information you include in that message so we can respond.
Service and property data
We process device and usage analytics to understand how the product is used and improve it. Analytics may include page views, button and link interactions, performance information, and masked session recordings; text entered into form fields is masked from session recordings. We also process listing and property data to provide land discovery, matching, and related insights. Listing and property data may come from public, licensed, or other data sources and is not necessarily personal information about you.
Interactive 3D maps
If you choose the optional 3D Terrain view for a listing, AcreHound sends the selected parcel coordinates and standard device and network request data to Google to load that interactive map. Google processes that information under its own terms and privacy practices. The 3D map is not loaded until you activate it.
How we use information
We use information to create and secure accounts, personalize searches and the dashboard, save your work, respond to messages, understand product performance, and operate and improve AcreHound.
Service providers
We use service providers that help operate AcreHound, including Supabase for authentication and databases, Vercel for hosting and infrastructure, Google for sign-in, PostHog for product analytics, OpenAI for AI-powered product features, and beehiiv for waitlist email subscriptions when enabled. They may process information on our behalf to operate the product and provide their services.
Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers as needed to operate AcreHound, comply with applicable law, protect the service and its users, or as part of a business transition.
Security and retention
We use reasonable measures designed to protect information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security. We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to operate the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Your choices and requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, use our homepage contact form. We may need to verify your request before taking action.
Updates to this policy
We may update this policy as AcreHound changes. We will post the current version here and update its effective date.
